Journey 2 Yes or That's The One

This is the competitor closest to us: it speaks Portuguese, it brings the couple and the planner into the same space, and it serves destination weddings across Europe. It is also the one that beats us on the most rows.

What it is: That's The One

British software for professional wedding planners and for couples, in seven languages and more than twenty currencies. Guests and RSVP, digital invitations, wedding website, accommodation tracking, vendor management, shared timelines, multi-currency budget, proposals with signature, seating plan and real-time collaboration.

Where they beat Journey 2 Yes

Their RSVP spans multiple events with a separate answer for each, and ours does not. And they MANAGE accommodation — rooms, hotels, who stays where — while we only ask in the RSVP who needs a bed. Custom questions we do have, and the couple adds as many as they like. Their budget converts currencies automatically, and ours does not. And they have comments, voice and video inside the tools themselves, which none of the rest of us has.

Where Journey 2 Yes wins

They do not do invoicing with European VAT, withholding tax or filing deadlines — their charging goes through an intermediary. They have no vendor directory, so they bring no clients. They have no meeting booking by link, no phase-based automations and no per-line margin sheet. Our seating plan is 3D with the room in metres; theirs is two-dimensional drag and drop. And our couples' module is free and unlimited, without depending on a professional paying for it.

When the other one is the better choice

Choose That's The One if your work is mostly destination weddings with guests travelling — accommodation tracking and currency conversion solve real problems we have not solved yet. If you invoice in Portugal or Spain and need proper VAT and withholding tax, the arithmetic changes.

This comparison is ours, built from what each platform publishes. We are not a neutral party and we say so up front: that is why every value carries its source, and why the rows where we lose sit in the same table with the same weight as the rest. Found a mistake? Write to us and we will fix it.
